The WWDA Operations Program Manager supports programs and projects contributing to solution portfolios within the WWDA organization. This individual represents WWDA Operations as s/he coordinates and manages activities associated with portfolios for which they have responsibility.  

   
  • Support the Senior Program Manager in the determination of focus areas and identification of metrics for success, revisiting regularly and evaluating progress.
  • Assume day-to-day responsibility for the planning, execution, and closure of portfolio impacting projects and tasks.
  • Maintain ongoing visibility to overall portfolio status, resource challenges, critical milestones, and other operational details.
  • Work closely with Strategic Stakeholder Leader(s) to obtain insight and understanding of portfolio priorities and how projects and programs align to the strategy.
  • Perform overall program risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and recommend mitigations, as needed.
  • Bring together multiple stakeholders and help drive decisions. 
  • Monitor information flow and establish relationships and systems to support information sharing across the organization and between cross functional areas as needed.
  • Facilitate key portfolio intake assessment and review meetings.
  • Work closely with Stakeholder Leaders to gain a deep understanding of the strategy behind the portfolio.
  • Ensure each program and project meets minimum criteria for inclusion and matches desired strategic priorities.
  • Manage the projects and programs, ensuring the details are accurate, updated on a timely basis, and reflect the latest thinking from the strategic leaders and WWDA leadership. 
  • This position can be based in Boston Massachusetts, Spring House Pennsylvania, Titusville, New Jersey, Beerse Belgium.

 


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree is required.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience working directly within life science/pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is required.
  • Working knowledge of the product development life cycle within the pharmaceutical, medical device, and consumer industries.
  • Ability to manage change and influence multiple business functional areas.
  • Experience partnering with leaders at Director and VP Levels.
  • Background in new product development, R&D business operations or project management preferred.
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong strategic partnerships, both internal and external, is required.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and influencing skills including the ability to manage internally and externally across all management and organizational levels, regional, globally and cross-sector.
  • Lead portions of the Strategic Planning Process, Business Planning Process, Portfolio Governance Process, and Portfolio Management Process preferred.
  • Experience with multiple solution types (Rx, Device, Diagnostic, Digital, Nutritional, etc.) preferred
  • Track record of flawless execution in information management using relevant software systems
  • Able to think and act strategically, anticipate road-blocks and map out next steps
  • Ability to facilitate groups toward achieving alignment and stated deliverables.
  • Demonstrated excellent communication skills and ability to matrix manage in a complex team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail
