Merchant Services Pricing Analyst

Job Description
The Merchant Services Pricing Analyst will be accountable for supporting and executing on the centralized pricing strategy across all market segments by providing pricing guidance and approval to all client facing staff that are soliciting and selling Merchant Services to clients. Coordinate and work on finalizing legal contracts for all new corporate accounts. Also works on various initiatives and projects related to our segment to streamline processes, implement new fees, and increase profit margins.Job Requirements
• Responsible for supporting the profitability and growth of TD Merchant Services within Segment Management, including the execution and approval of pricing for TDM products/services.
• Maintain and update the pricing policy for TDMS including training and maintenance of the pricing model to the sales and distribution areas of the business.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and pricing analysis on fee changes across segments.
• Provide pricing analysis for Sr. Manager and customer facing staff in order to assist in the closing of business.
• Develop/maintain productive working relationships and a visible profile within all sales channels to ensure TD Merchant Services pricing strategy is understood and fully leveraged, by communicating product segment details/and or strategies and supporting inquires/streamline and adjust approval and processes on an ongoing basis.
• Resolve inquires for all sales segments with goal to streamline and adjust approval and processes methods on an ongoing basis.
• Analyze and review results to established plan, providing feedback and recommendations to SR management, maximizing profitability.
• Lead on interchange tracking from networks
• ‎Analytics to determine P&L impact of product strategy changes
• Strategic analysis to identify actionable opportunities and risks
• Complete an account review process including automation to increase overall Segment profitability, execute on strategies and tactics to maximize key financial and business measures (Economic Profit, NIAT, Revenue/Customer, and Pricing/MDR). Collaborate with others to identify and manage risk.
• Represent TD Merchant Services externally as appropriate.
• 4 Year Degree or equivalent
• 7 years related business experience
• Experienced with complex financial modeling and advanced analytics
• Strong business acumen, with strong knowledge of pricing, preferably within the Merchant business.
• Strong delivery mind set and proven ability to execute on developed strategies.
• Strategic thinker with knowledge of business, marketing, and relationship management strategies;
• Flexibility to adapt and manage within a dynamic business environment;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
• Ability to work independently or as a part of a team
• Project management experience is an asset
