Member Communications Advisor

Job DescriptionAs the Member Communications Advisor you will support Member Communication Optimization (MCO) by delivering reporting solutions, data visualization and the execution of process improvement initiatives. You will be critical for maintaining and improving our line-of-sight to key performance measurements.

You will be a key contributor to team of a highly skilled and talented experts who maintain the current reporting environment and work to continually improve it by delivering operational reporting products, including critical metric reporting, performance dashboards, work-in-progress trackers and forecasting.

In this highly visible role, you will serve as a key point of contact for leadership and front line managers who rely on data collation and presentation for their reporting needs. Some of your additional responsibilities will include:

- Partnering with business groups to analyze and define requirements for new and existing reporting products

- Managing report requests from concept to completion helping to counsel and guide our business partners throughout the process

- Taking ownership of existing business intelligence products by maintaining and trouble-shooting when needed and providing domain expertise around the data

- Building reporting using primarily SQL and Tableau. Be flexible enough to learn/use new tools

- Developing and supporting SSIS packages and perform server related tasks.

- Building stored SQL procedures, Views, etc. to manage data and generate reports

In this role you will need to bring with you both your business insight and technical skills to be successful. Your skills will be tested as you will partner with key internal business partners to turn their requests into actionable reports. Your ability to communicate effectively across business units and with all levels of the organization will also be imperative to your success. You will have the opportunity to bring data to life and use it to influence fact-based business decisions. Your contributions will help CVS Health in maintain our position as a leader in the Pharmacy Benefit Management marketplace.Required Qualifications* Minimum of 8 years of working with data management and reporting solutions
* 5 or more years of experience with proved SQL Server skills (creating / optimizing complex queries)
* 2 + years creating reports in Tableau and Tableau Server Knowledge
* Minimal travel may be requiredPreferred Qualifications* Demonstrable experience as a strong internal partner with the willingness to provide and accept leadership within the team
* Ability to deal with ambiguity with curiosity about the business and how we support it
* Experience in Healthcare Industries or PBM
* Experience with unstructured data and tools
* Experience with Data Modeling
* Project Management experience is a plus
* Experience with Microsoft SSRS and/or Business Objects
* Proficient in Advanced SQL Concepts
* Experience with thoroughly testing and verifying result.
* Experience with any Business Intelligence platform
* Experience with .Net and building front-end applicationsEducation* A Bachelors degree preferably in a quantitative discipline is required
