Marketing Technology Specialist

About the position

This position will provide both strategic and tactical support of all aspects of marketing operations as deployed and administered through Marketing Technology platforms.  Collateral types served include presentations, marketing collaterals, conferences, email and direct marketing programs. The position will support platform development, enhancements, deployment and administration of tools used for; Workflow, Asset Management (DAM), Collateral customization, Campaign Automation and Distribution. This position will also support training, adoption and SOP development of said tools.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily and weekly placement and manipulation of materials on the Marketing Asset platforms to include; IMFP, MAPS and DAM, ensuring quality of asset profiles are complete with proper descriptions and metadata tags, file management, content screening, HTML and Script editing.
  • Coordinate efforts with external vendors to include platform management, enhancements, variable document creation and UAT prior to deployment.
  • Work with internal technology centers and vendor partners to configure and integrate system with up/downstream platforms.
  • Perform system management and administration to include user set-up and activation, monitor license counts, create metadata and other system objects, deactivation, archiving and create role specific user interfaces, etc.
  • Develop platform training curriculum and execute system training with various end-user groups, record sessions for future use.
  • Perform process improvement steps to include monitoring improvement strategies for onboarding, workflow mapping, integration with up/downstream platforms.
  • Perform operational metrics and reporting by creating, maintaining and improving reports to help analyze volume, operational efficiency and effectiveness to ensure consistent service levels expectations are met.
  • Interact with helpdesk and engage technical support of end-users on platforms.
  • Monitor, review and promotion of queued requests, review and troubleshooting of errors.
Qualifications
  • College Degree in Marketing or related field strongly preferred
  • 5+ years marketing project management experience required
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing Technology platforms; with a focus on marketing automation delivery, workflow and asset management
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage multiple high level projects
  • Proven track record project management experience executing change management process and technology efficiency improvements using proven project management methodologies and ability to manage in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills are needed in order to build a collaborative team environment
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of management including consultants
  • Must be able to work independently and take a leadership role of projects
  • Experience writing specifications, defining platform requirements, user training and support, data analysis, and reporting
  • Practical experience supporting the development of Customized & Personalized marketing or related field required
  • Competent in MS Office 365/Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Lotus Notes Databases, Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
