JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist in the management in ensuring day-to-day operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory and legal requirements and the organization’s policies. Conducts review of marketing content to detect compliance problems, such as unsuitable positioning, and enables new and replacement content through approved reviews. Incumbents are typically technical subject matter experts and individual contributors, responsible for training and education, trend analysis, and interaction with business owners that develop marketing content. May prepare documentation, reports and provide request information for compliance, risk, audit and business partners. In this role you will:
  • Reviews all marketing material to ensure it is compliant.
  • Work closely with business partners to assist them and make it easy for them to ensure they are in compliance.
  • Conducts informal compliance training to business partners.
  • Interacts with and assists businesses partners with all their marketing material matters.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Appropriate securities (FINRA 6/26) licensing required or willing to take the test within150 days of hire. We provide test preparation and cover expenses.
  • Knowledge of insurance and annuities products a plus.
  • Experience with marketing/advertising regulations a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal skills, and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Prior customer service experience preferred, including direct contact with customers over phone and via written communications.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively with a proven track record of working independently and delivering against aggressive deadlines in both a routine and complex environment.
  • Experience with internal and external audits desired.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work across teams/business units without formal authority.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical/problem solving skills, including the ability to assess data and determine important actionable tactics.
  • Ability to effectively identify, manage and mitigate risks.
