The Global Financial Intermediary Marketing Manager leads the execution of critical foundational activities to support the marketing plans targeting key home office contacts, such as fund selectors and research analysts at global financial intermediary firms. It requires a strong partnership with the country marketing leads and a thorough understanding of the sales goals, key focus funds and priority targets. This role is also necessary to ensure content is accurate, relevant, and syndicated in a timely manner across regions. In this role you’ll partner with internal marketing resources and other corporate functions to execute critical foundational marketing activities to support the marketing plan. Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Regional Marketing Leads across U.S., Europe and LATAM to understand the marketing strategy and ensure that the execution of foundational marketing activities support strategy and goals
  • Lead and manage content syndication programs targeting key home office contacts (fund selectors, research analysts) across U.S., Europe and LATAM. This includes:
    • Being the primary lead on the creation, approval and distribution of targeted email programs, social media programs and website content.
    • Making proactive recommendations for content (i.e. headlines, summaries of content, presentation titles) with an understanding of appropriateness for the target audience.
    • Managing all rapid response communications related to product updates and market events.
  • Manage and maintain a calendar of all marketing activities across the regions to provide holistic view to management
  • Partner closely with conference manager to ensure conference execution is consistent with marketing plan and goals by region. This includes:
    • Managing the creation, approval and distribution of all conference communications to the target audience
    • Providing direction to conference manager on featured content and literature
  • Set KPI’s with regional marketing leads and sales to drive measurable results
  • Research product and competitor trends in global markets to provide intelligence to be used to drive and support marketing and promotional strategy
  • Independently manage projects and priorities and maintain comprehensive communication plans and production schedules to ensure quality and timely execution of initiatives
  • Develop well-thought out creative briefs that provide clear direction and scope of projects.
  • Establish strong working relationships with Regional Marketing/Business Leads Lead, Product Management, Marketing, Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Solid knowledge of investment products, asset management and financial services industry; global experience marketing to retail professional buyer audience preferred
  • An independent, self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Previous experience working in a sales-driven, multi-channel, distribution environment
  • Ability to apply traditional as well as new and unique marketing approaches
  • Ability to build cooperative working relationships combined with the ability to take ownership and drive results
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • 5+years of experience in investment product marketing, institutional marketing or channel marketing to professional buyers
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and Adobe Incopy and Indesign
