Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Tours Tech Operations for the Digital Product, Platform & Strategy: Digital Ops, Product & Eng department. The Manager of Tours Technology Operations for Burbank/Hollyowood Tours will be responsible for a wide range of technology operations supporting the WB Hollywood Tour based in Burbank. Functions will include overseeing outsourced 24/7 support providers, interacting constantly with the Business to address systems problems, and to facilitate service improvements. In addition, this position will provide key input to enhancements, requirements, etc. based on experience with the Business Operation.
  • Work with 3rd-party Support Providers to define requirements for their operation, and evaluate their performance on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide direct, hands-on support for systems as needed (especially when 3rd-party support providers are not moving fast enough
  • Act as key point-person for day-to-day operations for WB Hollywood Tour personnel and Business.
  • Provide key input, based on in-depth understanding of Business Operation, to consideration of new platforms, tools, and technical services.   
What do we require from you?
  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years technology operations experience. This may included Windows and Linux configuration, based software management, basic network management.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server Management & Configuration.
  • Knowledge of Linux Shell.
  • Basic experience with Network Hardware.
  • Overall knowledge of the entertainment industry business preferred.
  • Overall knowledge of Warner Bros. businesses, business processes, technologies and applications that support it is preferred.
  • Ability to work with outside vendors and clients under sometimes adverse circumstances and under time critical constraints.
  • Must be able communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of personnel (in person, written, telephone).
  • Must be able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
  • Must be able to organize and schedule work effectively.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
