Manager, Strategic Marketing Planning / Governance

About the position

Reporting to the VP of Individual Solutions Group (ISG) Strategic Solutions Marketing, the Manager of Strategic Planning and Governance is a key role in the Marketing organization. This is a central role responsible for working with key stakeholders to develop and manage the Strategic Marketing plan for the ISG Marketing organization. This role interfaces with Senior Management in Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Operations & Analytics to develop the strategic plans by working with these teams to understand business objectives and goals and working with key stakeholders to develop Marketing plans to support the business. In addition, this individual will be responsible for standing up the operating model so Marketing can assess and prioritize efforts across the ISG Marketing group. This includes developing the cross functional structure, interaction model as well as the creation of ways to track and size opportunities to fully assess the value of each initiative. This is an exciting time in the organization as we continue to innovate on how we go to market with our solutions and add value to consumers lives and this role is an extremely pivotal one to enable the growth and transformation in the organization. A Day in the Life: A day in the life of the Marketing Strategic Planning and Governance Manager is an enjoyable day. The manager will be meeting with key stakeholders and senior leadership across the organization to develop the ISG Marketing plans. This includes interacting with Product Senior leadership, Sales Leadership as well as key Operating and Analytics partners to learn about their business, assess the strategic value of an initiative for strategic alignment and contribution to the business. They may also be gathering information on key Marketing initiatives, assessing their value against the strategic plan and ROI. They will be developing the agenda and lead the discussions for the prioritization of initiatives across a large cross functional team. This will ensure the organization is working on the most impactful initiatives, aligned with our strategic plan. Qualifications This job may be for you if:

  • 4+ years Consulting, Consumer goods or Financial services industry experience a plus; Bachelor’s Degree required
