WBCP works with these licensees to create a wide variety of consumer products including apparel, toys, housewares and more, all branded with renowned Warner Bros. icons including, but not limited to, Harry Potter, DC Entertainment super heroes and Looney Tunes characters.

We are seeking a Manager, Retail Strategy & Analytics for the Sales & Retail Business Development (RBD) department. This role is responsible for directing the collection, organization and management of retail sales information from licensees and retailers to inform the organization and deliver insights and recommendations that will support WBCP’s growth and innovation across US retail channels for all IP properties & product categories.

Responsibilities include:  
   
  • Leads planning, aggregation, and analysis of sales data across retail accounts and licensee partners to provide insights and make recommendations that drive retail go-to-market strategies.
  • Builds and maintains comprehensive overview of licensed CPG industry; performs on-going competitive and industry benchmarking to analyze seasonality, product and category, and IP trends; identifies key learnings and new opportunities.
  • Assists in management and governance of sales data, including development of business requirements for implementing new sales reporting solutions.
  • Performs project-based analysis for business performance, including post-mortem analysis and forecast modeling for new business opportunities.
  • Prepares and leads presentations to sales leadership, highlighting financial performance, strategic milestones, and industry trends.
  • Assists with preparation for joint business planning cycles with key retail accounts and licensee partners.
  • Manages and delivers ad-hoc reports, special projects, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Manages finance operations for the Sales & RBD department, including AdPub (marketing) and T&E budgets.
What do we require from you?
  • 5 - 7 years of progressive experience managing quantitative data and custom reporting to deliver insights and strategic recommendations, preferably in a finance or sales planning organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, data analytics, or related field required.
  • Consumer packaged goods, retail, or licensing industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau, Microstrategy, and other data reporting tools strongly preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with advanced Excel functions and modeling skills required.
  • Excel at presenting diverse information in a clear, concise manner with a data-supported point of view.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles and retail landscape preferred.
