Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Reporting and UI Solutions for the Enterprise Business & Database Technologies department. The Manager Reporting and UI Solutions is the functional subject matter expert and design architect for the SAP BW and Portal solutions implemented at WB. This role is accountable to understand, implement, and maintain the capabilities of integrated BW and Portal solutions such that they are technically optimized and meet the requirements of the business.  This position will also serve as a technical and design advisor for new SAP applications as well as provide direct oversight of the Service Provider and/or Project Team Members to ensure integrity of the implemented design.
  • Manage and oversee the SAP BW and Portal operations ensuring appropriate service levels are met, issues and escalations are resolved quickly, and operational procedures are followed in a satisfactory manner.  
  • Actively participate in the coordination of changes into the SAP BW and Portal eco-system.  Ensures all changes meet appropriate deadlines for development and testing, user sign off and approval prior to promotion to the productive environment.
  • Works with Service Provider to ensure appropriate ticket management including the proper documentation of root cause, prioritization of known error correction, and service level attainment for the SAP BW and Portal eco-system.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the WB Technology to plan integrated activities such as application upgrades, patch application, and routine maintenance activities.  Promote the use of the SAP BW and Portal eco-system as a preferred option.
  • Participate in the SAP Community of Practice (COP) comprised of Application Owners and Stakeholders to ensure SAP BW and Portal eco-system are consistent and are using the optimized tools and best practice system capabilities.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • SAP Certification is preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years SAP implementation and design experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in SAP NetWeaver development and support.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of management experience demonstrating the ability to manage both employee and contracting resources (including on-site and off-shore).
  • Excellent track record and proven ability to produce effective, innovative solutions on an enterprise scale.
  • Expert level knowledge of SAP functionality, integration, and implementation methodology for platforms including, but not limited to: SAP BW on HANA, BPC, Portal, Fiori.
  • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge of SAP modules and how those modules can successfully be deployed to users through a Portal/Fiori environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced level knowledge and hands on experience with SAP analytics reporting and Dashboarding/Visualization such as BEx Analyzer, Analysis for Office, Web Intelligence and Crystal Reports, Lumira Designer.
  • Intermediate level knowledge with SAP new dimensional UI tools and technology such as UI5/Fiori is highly desired.
  • Hands -on experience with SAP technology (Portal, Fiori, Dashboarding and Visualization) is highly desired.
  • Strong project management with SAP BI systems implementation knowledge & skills.
  • Strong analytical and technical communication skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP BI eco-system and tools, as well as SAP integration facilities, is highly desired.
  • Knowledge of current Warner Bros. systems and business processes (across divisions), and business applications architecture and current systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of the implemented Warner Bros. SAP applications and platforms is preferred.
  • Detail oriented with an ability to quickly identify errors.
  • Possess a strong customer service mindset.
  • Ability to actively listen and incorporate feedback to continuously improve.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to mentor team comprised of both employees and contractors as it relates to nuances of solution design.
  • Demonstrated ability to define the problem, collect data, establish a requirement, and create a workable solution and potential alternative.

  • Possess basic negotiation skills and be able to clearly and effectively communicate the rationale behind policies and procedures. Must be able to communicate difficult messages with tact and respect.
  • Ability to justify and present innovation concepts to Senior Management.

  • Ability to manage large bodies of work over a distributed/leveraged organization of internal and consulting resources.
  • Diplomatic, collegial approach required when working with development teams, vendors and external/outsource partners.
  • Ability to work with multiple vendors and manage through SLA’s and operational reporting.
