We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Program Management Office for our Content Management & Distribution Technology Group. Our Content team focuses on creative and innovative ways of distributing our content. We identify how are content is used across the entire life-cycle from film and TV production to home entertainment.

The Manager, Program Management Office will be responsible for managing (including performing as scrum master) various software development projects and teams supporting divisions across the studio such as Theatrical, DC Entertainment, WB Games and more. You will support our efforts in transforming the way we deliver technology and our content through the cloud and web services.

In this role, you will collaborate with our technical teams, operations, and business units to create roadmaps, define project scope, manage resource allocation, manage budgets and ensure the needs of the various divisions are met. You will perform as a scrum master or project manage teams of offshore/onshore vendors and internal resources in the development of our enterprise digital asset management and media workflow systems and applications.

We’re a looking for someone with a college degree or equivalent work experience, 4+ years of relevant experience in managing software development projects, strong knowledge of the SDLC, Scrum framework and DevOps. To be successful in this role you will need technical aptitude and have a proven track record of delivering successful software/system projects.
  • Perform as a project lead responsible for working closely with business units to define requirements and business needs for content management and distribution solutions.   Manage the schedule, scope, budget and implementation of projects.  Perform as a scrum master for DevOps teams.
  • Collaborate with technical solution architects, operations, and division senior management (via client facing teams) to identify and design overall system.  Present solutions to internal teams and clients.
  • Review and provide feedback on vendor agreements, scope documents, UAT plans etc. Review deliverables and provide constructive feedback. Approve invoices and project deliverables. Onboard contract resources and ensure accurate time keeping.
  • Participate in the creation of the technology roadmap for content management and distribution group.   Incorporate business/division and studio initiatives into roadmap.  Help identify opportunities for consolidation and rationalization of applications.
What do we require from you?
  • College degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing software development projects.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing contracting resources (including on site and off shore).
  • Strong technical understanding of software development concepts.
  • Some hands-on software development experience preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of SDLC’s including Agile methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of the Scrum Framework.
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment best practices.
  • Past experience with Process Re-engineering efforts.
  • Experience with change management associated with system implementation, replacement, and major enhancement.
  • Knowledge of digital asset management, digital supply chain, digital media workflows.
