Manager, Logistics Strategy & Analytics

As the Manager, Logistics Strategy & Analytics, you will be a thought leader in driving the analytics capability for the NA region. You will demonstrate a strong knowledge of end to end supply chain processes, systems, data and metrics. You are responsible for leading the diagnostic assessment of the supply chain processes and practices to determine the appropriate analytical tools and solutions that will drive decisions and best in class results. Additionally, you will supervise direct reports. The qualified individual for this role will be comfortable working with detail and the tactical development of analytics, strategic focus and end to end thinking.
Responsibilities:• Provide complex and advanced analytics to drive strategic insights and enable the organization to make business and financial decisions• Develop analytics and capabilities to yield best in class advanced analytics• Develop automated and exception based reporting capabilities to drive proactive decisions• Leverage and develop best in class analytic tools and standardize approach to complex analytics• Develop self-service customized reports and tools for the base business• Provide network, customer, and overall logistics efficiency recommendations as a result of scenario modeling work• Directly interface with the CLS functions to understand their metrics and analytical capability needs and translate the needs into applicable solutions through the development of consistent reporting and methodology• Develop and deploy common Supply Chain performance metrics to enhance performance to meet business goals and objectives• Manage an organization of analysts with responsibility for leading optimization studies and other order to cash business intelligence supporting CLS• Identify and analyze service improvements and cost savings opportunities and prepare business cases• Contribute to the continuous improvement process through advanced analytics• Influence multiple stakeholders internally and externally to meet business objectives• Provide analytics and solutions for highly complex issues across the end to end supply chain

Qualifications
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or focused degree in a Supply Chain discipline preferred• Minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience required• Requires Logistics / supply chain experience• People Management experience required• Requires strong business acumen and understanding of the end to end supply chain• Experience developing business strategy is preferred• Demonstrated ability to partner with and influence across all levels of the organization and cross-functionally• Ability to develop innovative methodologies and solutions to difficult logistics opportunities and projects• Multi-sector healthcare industry experience preferred• Experience with analytical tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Alteryx is helpful• Project Management experience and/or certification is preferred• This position is located in Skillman, NJ (considerations made for other North American J&J CLS sites) and will require up to 15% domestic travel
