Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, IT Configuration for the WB Technology Application Infrastructure & Operations group. The Manager, IT configuration oversees the accuracy of WB’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB) while ensuring that efficient processes are in place to govern and audit the data within the CMDB.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of WB’s CMDB as we continue to leverage new hosting platforms, such as the public cloud – all while ensuring that data governance and audit/compliance requirements are met.
  • Develop and manage processes to ensure CMDB accuracy.
  • Manage, prioritize and assist application and executive owners as needed regarding any CMDB requirements.
  • Manage, prioritize and assist application and executive owners with Knowledge Objects pertaining to the CMDB, ensuring that they are dynamically stored and up to date.
  • Develop and manage processes to ensure accuracy of CMDB related approval and assignment groups.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting against CMDB data as required by stakeholders.
What do we require from you?
  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree. Flexible on subject matter (Work Experience supersedes).
  • ServiceNow Certification(s).
  • ITIL Certification(s).
  • Minimum 5 years of ITSM/ITIL implementation experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing a large, complex CMDB.
  • Minimum 2 years developing and managing processes using the ServiceNow platform.
  • Minimum 2 years experience using Agile methodologies.
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of current Cloud Platforms and Services (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, etc.).
  • Recent experience architecting and implementing solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Expert data modeling skills, including in depth knowledge of data normalization techniques.
  • Expert knowledge of the capabilities of the ServiceNow platform and various modules, particularly the CMDB.
  • Experience with data/information governance in a large enterprise.
  • Experience working within an agile software development process.
  • Extensive experience in Technology Operations Management at a world-class, modern technology company.
  • Strong analytical skills; must be able to produce various reports (including ad-hoc reports) on CMDB data in a timely manner.
  • Executive-level communications skills (both spoken and written).
  • Strong documentation skills; must be able to produce concise documentation on ITSM processes that is easily understood by a wide audience.
