Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. seeks a Manager, Global Real Estate Accounting for the Corporate Real Estate department.
  • Management of staff and review of their work. This involves various systems and processes and Landlord/Tenant billing issues.    
  • Accountable for accuracy of 130+ P&L’s and related balance sheet accounts monthly.             
  • Responsible for accuracy in forecasting all real estate locations both in Time Warner’s Hyperion System and Warner Bros. BPC system.     
  • Preparation of variance Operating Expense and Capital Reporting decks both for WB and for Time Warner with little supervision.    
  • Provide audit support as necessary.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required and a concentration in Real Estate preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of Real Estate Accounting/Finance experience in Corporate Real Estate environment preferred.
  • Experience working with other real estate disciplines daily including transaction management, project management and facilities management, and capable of communication with upper management.
  • Lease abstract and administration experience preferred.
  • Prior financial reporting, operating and capital budget, GL, profit/cost center accounting, management accounting and other similar responsibilities required.
  • Tenant Improvement allowance, tracking and collection experience helpful.
  • Prior entertainment experience helpful.
  • SAP knowledge in R/3 (financial roles, buyer roles), EBP, and Imaging/Workflow knowledge preferred.
  • Thorough Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GAAP techniques and practices. CPA, Chartered Accountancy strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of lease audits required.
  • 4+ years’   supervising staff.
  • 10 key adding machine by touch.
  • Knowledge of computer systems: IBM, PC and compatibles required, mainframe experience preferred.
  • Willingness to research issues and get job done accurately and timely.
  • PC Skills:  Windows, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, lease software applications.
  • Superior time management and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, articulation in a professional manner.
  • Exceptional organization and leadership skills required.
  • Must be dynamic, precise, thorough, and extremely organized.
  • Must have the ability to work in high pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with management, managers, outside vendors, and all levels of personnel.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Must have the ability and flexibility to work well under time constraints to meet all deadlines.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidential standards and sensitive information.
