Studio Facilities (WBSF) oversees the physical operations of the historic 110-acre main lot in Burbank including its 30 soundstages and 20-acre backlot, as well as production-related services including costume, set-dressing, construction, set lighting, catering, transportation, photography and much more. The production site also hosts tours for consumers offering guests intimate views at the inner workings of thriving entertainment studios. Posting Job Description What part will you play?

We are currently seeking a Manager to support our Warner Bros. Studio Facilities (WBSF) Finance team. This individual will become a key leader in the group, supporting the highly visible Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood, consisting of Admissions, Retail and Food Service operations. This position will liaise with operations management to assist with their budgeting and forecasting cycles and will develop complex reports and analysis to accurately measure their activities and business. The role will be responsible for identifying process improvement opportunities while overseeing internal policies. Additionally, this position will be responsible for functions across multiple departments, assessing effectiveness and developing recommendations to streamline and/or strengthen controls. This is a dynamic role requiring a high level of influence, strategic partnership, with excellent communication and analytical skills. Specific duties will include:
  • Effectively accomplish objectives, encourage teamwork, and motivate others to exceed expectations.
  • Provide guidance to ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and Company policies and procedures in all areas of responsibility.
  • Manage month-end and quarter-end financial analysis including detailed research on key P&L variances.
  • Provide strategic support to operating executives and WBSF management through timely analysis, identification of business risks and developing meaningful processes or recommendations.  
  • Partner with the Technology group to provide support, testing and analysis on new technological projects.
  • Serve as financial lead on planning, reporting on and presenting capital growth projects WB Studios Tour Hollywood, WB Retail Operations, WB Food Services & Central Warehouse.
  • Preparing, analyzing, and partnering in profit & loss budgets and reforecasts for the business unit.
  • Assisting with investment and capital expansion opportunities, including preparing NPV/ROI analysis.
What do we require from you?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business Administration.
  • 4+ years’ experience in a Finance, Accounting and Budgeting environment.
  • Previous experience in theme park or visitor attractions.
  • Experience with financial metrics & financial modeling.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills – building complex financial models, working efficiently with large data sets, and preparing presentations.
  • Advanced knowledge of other Microsoft Office programs including Word, Access and PowerPoint.

  • CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred.
