Core Responsibilities: The PGIM Investments Marketing Team is looking for a digital communications expert to manage the day-to day work associated with email and communications distribution programs manager for the PGIM Investments business. He/she will be required to have working knowledge of the technologies and software used to create and manage email programs. He/she will be responsible for the execution of digital e-mail marketing campaigns. This role will assist in the overall visual design, process definition and execution, integrity and flawless execution of email programs for the firm, and will be hands on in the execution of delivery.
  • Execute ongoing email marketing programs on behalf of PGIM Investments.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on email programs and email marketing overall.
  • Spearhead the pulling and management of lists, design of emails, coordinate the proofreading of content for emails, manage through Compliance Review and push out emails.
  • Lead reporting and communications around emails, and work with Sales and Channel Marketing on problem resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Work closely with the department lead, Sales, Product Marketing and Channel Marketing to support and execute a seamless digital email marketing program to attract, convert, upsell and engage financial professionals.
  • Manage the design of landing pages and microsites to ensure appealing and engaging experiences for PGIM Investments customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Computer Science, Business, English or Marketing preferred.
  • Demonstrated project management skills; ability operate tactically in order to translate strategy into action using needed technology.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work effectively and manage multiple projects at any given time.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • 5 – 7 years of coding effort in Javascript, HTML5, creating CSS code and C++.
  • Proficient in ExactTarget or other email client platform, SalesForce or other CRM, CMS, Javascript, HTML5, CSS creation, C++, as well as Microsoft Office programs including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience in creating webpages on a CMS, ideally on ExactTarget and WCM.
  • A proven track record of leveraging a corporate digital style guide and tailoring experiences to specific audiences – creating an overall harmonious experience but one that truly serves the needs of the market.
  • Comprehensive understanding of database marketing and the practice of using data as a strategic asset to manage clients through the customer lifecycle.
  • Direct marketing expertise, ideally in a high volume B2B or in a mainstream consumer marketing enterprise leveraging email and digital programs to identify and acquire clients
  • Analytic mindset, comfortable with table manipulation and data parsing in order to better assess opportunities and effectiveness
