Manager, Commercial Product Management – North America-3

Overview:
The Manager, Commercial Product Management, is a key member of the North American (NAM) Region Commercial Product Management team
• The North American Commercial Product Management team reports into the North American Region, and operates within the overall GP&S (Global Products & Solutions) organization
• There are more than 40 NAM Issuers that leverage the MC Commercial platforms in some capacity. In addition, we have a number of technology partners that are integrated as well, both strategic and tactical.
• Platforms include: SmartData, Real Time Account Management In Control for Commercial Payment, In Control for Business Travel, Merchant Match Tool, and Enhanced Merchant Reporting
• The Manager, Commercial Product Management Manager, is responsible for the communication, coordination, and management of the impacts the implementation of the platform strategy will have on our Issuers & technology partners.
• The role will be closely aligned with our Global Product partners, as well as our technology development team and will represent the “voice of the customer” and superior Client experience.

Role:

•Ensure our Issuer population & technology partners are well prepared and informed of the new platform strategy and enhancements. This requires a detailed understanding of current usage – to ensure readiness for any and all enhancements/development.
•Be the central point of contact for the Issuers/technology partners to provide feedback, issues, and concerns on any current and future features/functions.
•The role will require significant collaboration & influence across internal MasterCard teams throughout global Commercial Products, regional product management, customer account management, and Operations and Technology.
•Assistance with the creation and management of project plans, as well as platform/product related training materials
•Identification & management of Pilot Issuers – definition and measurement of success.
•Coordination of Issuer facing feedback sessions on Agile Development

•Do you have experience working in the commercial payments industry, with specific experience in managing and developing Purchasing, Virtual, and/or Travel card products and platforms for North American-based card issuers?
•Do you have card payments product management experience, and/or experience in developing card product strategies and product development plans?
•Are you motivated to be a part of driving a world beyond cash?
•Have you worked in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment?

All About You
Experience in the Commercial Payments industry – including P-Card, Virtual and/or Travel card product management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Demonstrated strong product management principles and development lifecycle experience.
Experienced in the overall Product development and delivery process – inclusive of Go to Market.
Experience working with technology development teams in an agile environment to bring new products to market
Bachelors degree in business or relevant experience, MBA preferred
