Posting Job Description What part will you play?

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment seeks a Manager, Business Development & Licensing team to assist in the negotiations of movie and TV, Electronic Sell Through and Video On Demand, as well as virtual reality licensing deals and amendments with U.S. and Global partners. This Manager will provide multiple options, and ultimately, recommendations related to business models and varying deal terms.  Additionally, they will assess the financial impacts of multiple deal variables. 
Responsibilities include:  
  • Providing financial and deal support in negotiations with current digital transactional partners and during renewal and amendment negotiations including analysis of business terms and internal coordination with Sales, Ops., and Finance.
  • Screening and creating new potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, revenue potential, and financials, evaluating options, resolving internal priorities and recommending path forward.  Negotiating and incubating new businesses and partners that support WB strategic priorities as assigned by Senior Vice President and Vice President of Business Development.
  • Pursuing promotional opportunities - ideally consumer electronics & consumer packaged goods companies - which contribute profit or exposure to Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
  • Providing account management support when on-boarding new clients by partnering cross divisionally with Legal, Finance, Marketing, Technical Operations, Global Product Planning and Sales Services.
  • Collaborating with International territories to assess global financial impact of terms with Global Partners and Communicating U.S. business developments and potential impacts for International territories.
  • Working with Business Units and Sales to achieve global scale on key promotions and new releases and coordinating and tracking business terms and negotiations with Global Partners across territories
  • Maintaining thorough understanding of digital media and technology trends and its impact on WB and partners and evaluating financial impact of new technology and new product entries into market
What do we require from you?
  • BA/BS in Business related major or statistics or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience business modeling.
  • Transactional Digital Media experience is preferred
  • Proven track record of presenting financial findings.
  • Extensive experience with Excel and complex modeling.
