Maintenance Technician (1802416) – Erie, PA
Ideal candidate will perform a wide variety of mechanical and electrical maintenance work in ladder logic, PLC's, P & ID's, and calibration techniques. Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining mechanical equipment required for proper plant operation and perform preventive maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshooting electrical equipment to diagnose problems and determine necessary repairs.
  • Installing and repairing electronic instrumentation.
  • Work from prints and comprehend general instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and be familiar with industrial codes relative to installation, inspection, and repairs on all plant mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Great communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Comply with all safety rules and regulations.
  • Shift could be afternoon or continuous shift work.
  • Obtain a PA Water Tender license in the first year of employment

Ingredients for Success: What We Look For in You… Basic qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Five years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment
  • Experience or technical training in electrical interconnect drawings, and PLCs
  • Knowledge of power, hand tools, and rigging/lifting techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associates degree in Mechanical Technology, or Industrial Maintenance
  • Knowledge of calibration techniques, testing equipment, and ISO 9008 requirements for documentation
  • Knowledge of NFPA 730E
  • Millwright experience or possession of a Journeyman Millwright certification
  • Experience utilizing SAP software
  • Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps
