Live Case Observation Specialist UK & IRE

Role Purpose: The planning and delivery of educational Live Case Observations (LCO) at both a national & regional level (in conjunction with our various training facilities) to extend the clinical knowledge and surgical skills of health care professionals. Facilitate the adoption & penetration of UK & IRE focus procedures & products. Deliver industry leading Professional Education, so it is a key differentiator for the UK & IRE business and a true value add for the customer base. Key areas of responsibility: Ownership of the planning and delivery of LCOs to meet the BP demands Ownership of procedural & product areas in line with the focus products & specialities Ownership and accountability for associated budgets Independent organisation and administration (including on-site management of selected events) in the field, e.g. live surgery Deliver compliance to HCC and CREDO requirements in dealing with HCP’s and Institutions Responsibility for selected, specified UK & EMEA LCO Training Centres Working in collaboration with internal and external customers to plan & deliver future LCOs from the Professional Education Department Provide analysis and metrics to track performance Chasing special documents (e.g. visas, honorary contracts, medical certificates) Distribute feedback forms and event participation certificates (if required) Capture visitor/staff feedback at the end of each training session Share all feedback with appropriate stakeholders. Budget management General: Maintain all necessary documentation relating to all stages of the process (auditable); Act as the key point of contact for all stakeholders in relation to all event compliance, HCP contractual and payment matters. Ad hoc projects when required
Accountabilities: Proactively identify business risks and opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness; Ensure events adhere to Health Care Compliance guidelines and that all contracts are fully executed in time for services; Enhance the Professional Education status by accepting ownership for being customer centric and solutions orientated; Be transparent with all aspects of non-compliance; Challenge the status quo. Key Relationships: Education Solutions Director/Professional Education Team: support in the implementation of the annual Professional Education Business plan. LCO faculty: manage key stakeholders to deliver LCO events in line with J&J Institute standards Education Solutions staff: liaise with UK & IRE, Regional and Global colleagues to support delivery of LCOs LCO external training centers: needs and capacity planning, assurance of quality standards, arrangement of actual LCO events UK & IRE commercial teams: engagement with the commercial teams to ensure the correct LCO faculty and delegates are selected in line with the annual business plan Platform Managers: plan and delivery of LCOs to support marketing strategies and tactical plans. Able to travel all over the UK & IRE and some overseas travel will be required (40% travel). Education & experience: Experience in the field of event management Customer service experience; Medical Device Industry Knowledge; J&J products, procedures & NHS. Microsoft Office Experience: Excellent PC skills and a working knowledge of Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet and Outlook. Location: Leeds office but willing to travel within UK & IRE and EMEA when necessary (40% travel) * Due to the changing nature of the business, this is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities and the role may be subject to change.
