This position requires all candidates to either currently possess or obtain and maintain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Formula for Success
  • Leveraging your educational and professional background (preferably a degree and certifications) and experience in leave and/or disability management, we will rely on you to provide exemplary customer service to employees, the HR team, and other key stakeholders as you note all leaves in the Case Management System while ensuring system triggers, notifications, communications, and diaries are documented.
  • Your broad understanding of various leave types (e.g., short- and long-term disability, FMLA, FLA, ADA, Military) will be a valued asset as you determine employee leave eligibility and appropriate benefits.
  • Using your solid verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, you will facilitate return to work with the employee, site medical contact, his/her supervisor, and HR.
  • As a trusted resource, you will handle and maintain confidential and sensitive information including, but not limited to, summarizing cases for appeals and coordinating disability retirements for union populations.
  • Successfully engaging across the business, you will interact with employees at all levels, including legal and medical professionals.
  • You will display excellent attention to detail as you will provide timely and accurate notification to Data Management or Payroll when manual intervention is required.
