The role is responsible for creating learning measurement, evaluation, and reporting standards, templates, and tools that will shape the overall learning strategy and yield a consistent approach to measuring and evaluating learning programs and initiatives at Colgate-Palmolive.  The role is also responsible for all metrics and accurate reporting across the learning organization to support the Learning team’s growth and strategic alignment with the business.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with the Global Learning team to develop a learning measurement and evaluation strategy that utilizes Kirkpatrick and/or other models.
  • Consult with Learning Business Partners to analyze, design, and measure learning solutions to address varied and specialized functional business needs.
  • Research, write, conduct, and oversee comprehensive learning needs analysis to facilitate an annual enterprise wide Global Learning needs assessment, compliance training needs assessment, and customized needs assessments for different projects and audiences as needed.
  • Partners with the Technology, Methods and Tools leader, as well as with the Global Learning Leader to develop and benchmark key performance indicators for the learning function to position the learning enterprise as an investment that contributes to Colgate’s strategic initiatives and overall company growth.
  • Creates an array of valid, reliable, systematic measurement tools, including surveys, testing platforms, interviews, focus groups, for all learning modalities.
  • Reviews, rewrites, and creates learning assessment questions that are valid and create meaningful data to show acquisition of learning, including practice data and scorecards that learners can use when applying new behaviors and skills.
  • Collect, organize, synthesize, and analyze data, summarize findings, and develop conclusions and recommendations from appropriate data sources.
  • Develop creative and valid measures to capture and report behavior change as required for different learning solutions.
  • Coordinates the administration of surveys through various technologies.
  • Utilize Metrics that Matter or similar dashboard technology and the learning management system to produce various reports and compile the Quarterly and Annual Training Dashboard Reports. Consolidate and prepare executive summary reports for senior management to aid in forecasting and decision making across the enterprise.


 

 

Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience: 

  • At least 5 years of HR/Learning experience
  • 3 or more years working with learning metrics, dashboards, and statistical analysis.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in: Business administration, data analytics, education, organizational development, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in the development of outcome measures for learning programs
  • Knowledge to create and implement a comprehensive assessment program, including measuring learner outcomes.
  • Skilled knowledge of statistics and interpretation use of data.
  • Demonstrated experience working in program evaluation.
  • Experience in using assessment and evaluation results to make recommendations to improve programs
  • Experience in collaborating to advance a culture of assessment and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated hands-on project management skills.
