As a Finance IT lead you will be performing Functional Analyst, Scrum master and when the necessary experience is gained Solution Architect role within Supply Chain Technology Services - you will be Accountable to manage the integrated build with the Software Engineers, Data team, Configuration experts, Legacy teams, Testers, Trainers and Change Control to ensure the end-to-end build of a particular part of a solution is compliant and works as designed

  • Define the Detailed design of the solution 
  • Provides clarifications from Product Line Owner/Business Analyst on requirements
  • Provides alternate options to meet user story requirements
  • Ensures Legacy requirements are integrated in end to end requirements
  • Works with the Business Analysts to demo working software to Product Owner
  • Creates/Updates Functional Design and Technical Design Specifications 
  • Performs Configuration and Updates Configuration Design Specification Document
  • Reviews Data and Security Requirements for the User Story during Sprint Planning
  • Creates and/or Approves change control for software changes
  • Engage Solution Architects to ensures the solution meets the requirements
  • Coordinates release planning with Release Train Engineer
  • Plan and execute all of the testing cycles (except User Acceptance Testing) 
  • Accepts what will be tested during Technical Acceptance Testing 
  • Ensures Regression Testing is planned appropriately for solution 
  • Engage with Release Train Engineer to ensure all services areas support the solution
  • Works with Support organization to ensure the appropriate support model is in place post Production
  • Works with Testing, Software Quality Assurance, Computer System Validation, and IT Risk Assurance services to ensure requirements are met
  • Work with Shared Services (Application Development, Security) to verify solutions
  • May provide Level 3 support for Production Support
  • May also perform the role of a Scrum Master Key whose key responsibility is to support team in outcomes of working software from sprints as well as partnering with Product Owner and Business Analyst to ensure ceremonies include weekly product backlog refinement to feed sprints.
  • The solution Architect Role includes 
    • Reviews and approves new and Changes to IT solutions and engages change owner in the definition of the high-level design
    • Confirms high level design for a user story to meet criteria for Definition of Ready(Agile delivery)
    • Reviews a change request as IT Lead and provides approval when Change Request is:
    • Consistent with agreed high-level design
    • Has reviewed the technical impact with appropriate tools and any testing requirements are indicated on the Change Request, including volume and regression testing for medium/high risk changes
    • Risk is updated appropriately
    • Reviews and approves an FDS and/or Configuration document indicating that he/she is certifying the detailed design
    • Provides feedback on testing strategy
    • Will review tests executed and provide approval for tests as required in HPALM as IT lead
    • Ensures that tests executed meet testing plan defined for the scope of work
    • Adjust project and resource plan as needed to ensure all testing is covered

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Business, Finance or Information Technology
  • A minimum of 5 years of IT or Finance experience is required
  • Strong financial business insight in supply chain financial process is preferred
  • Standout colleague with good communication skills and be customer oriented, aiming at effective collaboration with internal and external partners
  • Can work independently in formulating creative ideas and solutions on products, processes, and systems preferred 
  • Problem solving and process improvement skills required 
  • Able to deal with high pace project delivery and challenging timescales - well organized, very accurate and compliance driven is required 
  • Good customer service skills are required
  • Experience with Agile is preferred
