IT Operations professionals support infrastructure operations and/or manage delivery for IT production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements.

 

Job Description

IT Tools Administration iImplementing and maintaing of tools that helps to perform day to day activites in the IT infrastructure.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
Adapts existing methods and procedures to create alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
Uses own judgment to determines optimal solution to recommend.
Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or teams leads. Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance.
Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams.
Manages medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

 

Need to work with business staff Client Stakeholders to document process needs reqs and business opportunities. Should be able to analyze coordinate the Work requests with Stakeholders, Peer teams Team members working in onsite offshore model to highlight gaps, Risks and to drive the requests to resolution after setting the timelines. Ability to Log into Major Critical calls and drive the issues to resolution. Should be able to Negotiate and set expectation to Client and Team members on Deliverables, goals and Targets. Responsible for all major facets of assigned projects from inception to completion, including client contact, engineering, resource alignment, etc., Participate on project specific tasks that impact the operations business clients that they manage. Must be an escalation point for troubleshooting and other issues. Serve as a point of contact for the onsite operations, new project tasks, delegation to offshore team etc. Provide assistance and guidance to team on technology opportunities and avenues which can be transformed. Job holder is expected to interact with all Offshore Tools Team as required to insure efficient Project Work request Execution and remain as escalation contact to client. Must be capable of working with minimal supervision. Must be capable of communicating well with remote Offshore co workers to guide and direct the team to meet exceed the expectations and deliver it in the set timelines SLA. Take an active role in the training and development of subordinate personnel, and serve as a mentor to new Engineers, or Operations staff as required.
