IBM MaaS360 Account Manager / Contract Extension Rep.

Job Description
The Account Manager / Contract Extension Rep’s (CER), primary responsibility will be to manage and expand relationships with key accounts inside their assigned territory. You will coordinate with multiple departments to drive successful growth within our existing client base. Utilizing your expertise, you will work through business processes and challenges for small to medium size businesses to articulate and demonstrate best of breed solutions featuring MaaS360. Your daily interaction with C-level Executives will provide the opportunity to further develop IBM's relationships to directly impact the company’s bottom line.

This position is on site in the IBM Philadelphia, PA office.


Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your pipeline
  • Maintain a high level of IBM solution expertise and competitive intelligence
  • Provide compelling product demos emphasizing service features and benefits, discussing contract terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales orders
  • Develop internal relationships with all functional areas within IBM including Business Partners
  • Work with other sellers and cross functional teams as needed to create an effective solution for the client
  • Utilize advanced features of PowerPoint, Excel and Word to customize presentations, create detailed spreadsheets, models and complex proposals
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM for sales opportunity distribution, tracking and reporting
  • Work with our Technical Support team to oversee timely and accurate resolution and communication regarding customer issues
  • Communicate customer enhancement requests to improve product features
  • Dynamically adjust to customer needs and revenue

Key Attributes
  • Ability to execute proficient sales demo/meetings
  • Ability to train others on messaging and product specific details.
  • Ability to comprehend and articulate requirements from customers, that may be unclear and disorganized.
  • Hold a proven track record of completing tasking on time.
  • Ability to build consistent new revenue pipeline; account development and account growth
  • Demonstrated communication and time management skills, a positive attitude, a team player, and the ability to achieve set targets.
  • Demonstrated forecasting skills and good command of marketplace


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • At least 2 years' experience in technology sales
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Mobility, SaaS, and/or Security related industries
  • At least 2 year of Account Management experience in a B2B environment supporting clients with reoccurring revenue
  • Proficient utilizing advanced features of PowerPoint, Excel and Word


Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

  • At least 1 year experience in the Financial and/or Industrial Services Market
  • Knowledge of Security technologies and trends
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM (Customer Relationship Manager)
