The Director Organizational Effectiveness, Consumer is under the World Class Organization, Organizational Effectiveness (OE) is a new Capability in J&J Consumer. OE main’s mission is to enable Innovation and growth for the Consumer business. By using advanced HR analytics, we aim to create a simpler, leaner, flatter, more efficient and more connected organization while driving continuous efficiencies, reducing complexity and lowering our “People cost” to serve so we can re-invest in our Innovation pipeline. We consider what work needs to be done, where, at what level and at what cost so that we are better able to respond and adapt to the changes in the marketplace, bring innovation to the markets faster, push decision making to the most appropriate levels, eliminate duplication of work and invest heavily in future capabilities. The Director Organizational Effectiveness, Consumer will:
    • Responsible for leading the 2018 delivery of our financial productivity commitment in alignment with our strategic plan. S/he will play a vital role in the development of the Consumer’s single source of truth through WF DNA.
    • Drive the Organizational Principles in the regions and functions
    • Partner with the regions and help create a playbook that can be used globally of how to become a more nimble, decentralized, and lean organization
    • Push decision making to the lowest appropriate levels, eliminate duplication of work and invest heavily in future capabilities while considering interdependencies between global, regional, cluster and local
    • Break down product-based silos and deploy resources dynamically across the portfolio
    • Empower us to make choices to enable our organization to be brilliant at the basics (activities that are essential but can be done with lower cost AND improved effectiveness) so we can use savings in resources, time and money to invest in activities that will drive our sustained growth
    • Invest in future capabilities to industry-leading level
    • Foster an entrepreneurial spirit close to the market by pushing decision making to the lowest appropriate level
    • Explore the components of each profession, identifies the discrete elements that can be augmented with technology or open talent models, and reassembles the work elements into new roles Workforce
    • Re imagine the type of work people will do in the future & the portfolio of workforces, people, and machines, on balance sheet and contingent workers and crowds
    • Create a strong Connected implementation/engagement plan, with a strong emphasis on how the change will benefit employees and help us achieve our goals, in a sustained approach
    • Design and deliver an engagement approach should focus on immediate communication needs as well as engaging employees over time by bringing new approaches to light, highlighting successes but also addressing well-intended failures to demonstrate agility and action.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor Degree required / Master’s in HR highly preferred
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is required.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive HR or HR related experience required including managerial experience coaching and leading talent.
  • Business and functional experience required
  • Global experience preferred
  • Demonstrated business finance support experience
  • Experience in Organizational Effectiveness required
  • Experience building and establishing highly collaborative relationships across business units with all levels within the organization, and leading, developing, and inspiring a high performing culture required
  • Experience in understanding P&Ls, financials and budgets required
  • Expertise in developing talent and increasing overall bench strength required
  • Commercial background with operations knowledge required
  • Experience working and leading teams required
  • Experience in managing Consultants required
  • Up to 10% travel required.
