Head of Sales, Animal Nutrition – Florham Park, NJ - 1801924 Where the Chemistry Happens Reporting functionally to the Senior Vice President, Global Business Unit (GBU) Animal and Aroma, based in Europe, you will be responsible for the overall implementation of the regional GBU customer portfolio strategy of the Animal Nutrition business in North America. Your regional sales performance responsibility requires close coordination with financial controlling, logistics, manufacturing, and R&D, as well as corporate functions. Formula for Success
  • Leveraging your educational background in a technical or business discipline along with your professional experience in marketing and/or product management (preferably within the nutrition field), you will perform all sales-driven activities in the region, including development of the customer portfolio to grow net sales and profit, discover and drive opportunities at customers, close deals to maximize CM1, drive sales excellence, and contribute ideas and market knowledge to fill the innovation pipeline.
  • Your strong general understanding of animal species, animal behavior, and animal nutrition will be a valued asset and you will play a key role in the development and execution of marketing plans for the Animal Nutrition product segment to secure agreed objectives of market share, sales volume, and profitability, including pricing, sales channel positioning, promotion, and product/packaging offerings.
  • Your solid interpersonal skills will be critical as you will engage with corporate executives as well as with ranchers, farmers, and feedlot workers. In addition, you will facilitate and conduct negotiations with a thorough understanding of the production capabilities and technical performance and associated value proposition of the product.
  • Driving strategic decisions for the business, you will communicate with leadership regarding the relevant risks and opportunities that have significant impact on business results.
