Performs Executive Assistant duties for SVP of Post Production. 




  • Include heavy phones, word processing, copying, faxing, filing, updating of contacts and vendors information files, etc.
  • Schedules meetings and cost reports, arranges travel, prepares expense reports, orders dvd and digital files, etc. Schedules, organizes and attends various weekly meetings.
  • Attends production meetings and assists with the updating of the Agenda.
  • Assists in the completion of post production and delivery of some shows.
  • Maintains and helps update post production delivery worksheets
  • Maintains and helps update post production delivery worksheets.




  • Must be able to establish good working relationships with principal players on all shows, and help them navigate through HBO corporate procedures.
  • Have good energy and work with quick turn arounds.
  • Be eager to learn post production if doesn’t already have a post-production back ground.
  • Updates SVP’s reports, e-mails and show files on a daily basis.
  • Updates and maintains SVP’s files, maintains incoming budget log, budget files, and FedEx accounts for shows in post production.
  • Checks union affiliation of potential post production crew members.
  • Drafts schedules for shows.
  • Helps draft lists for Editor and VFX Supervisors.
  • Assists in typing memos and budget notes.
  • Responsible for booking travel and filing expense reports.
  • Logs movement of video elements and manages the film and tape library.


  • Successful candidate will be a self-starter who takes initiative and is extremely resourceful. 
  • Must be able to pay attention to details, and be able to multitask. 
  • Must have extensive computer experience.
  • Must be capable of establishing good working relationships with principal players on shows and help navigate through HBO’s corporate procedures.
  • Extensive computer experience required. 
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Filemaker Pro and Outlook a must.
  • Understanding of production and post production a plus.
