Global/Regional ESP Finance Change Manager

The Finance Change manager is responsible for deploying a transformational organization change strategy to support the global Finance ESP journey in partnership with (update to the ESP Team; Human Resources Business Partner, and Finance leaders). The Change manager will work in collaboration with the Global Finance Leadership and to define strategic change plan to drive awareness and adoption of the ESP transformation for Supply Chain Finance and recent acquisitions. The Change manager will specifically support the Finance function and ESP deployments both Global and Regional.

Key Responsibilities:

75 % of the role would be devoted to ESP (Enterprise Standards & Productivity) - Business Support and Partnership including:

  • Act as an innovative thought partner and leader in deploying ESP Finance vision and supporting change strategy to achieve the business vision and strategy for innovation and growth
  • Act as Lead for ESP Global Program Change Management initiatives, including Supply Chain Finance, AMO, Actellion, and other ad hoc corporate acquisitions to be included on the Solution Integration roadmap for Global Finance; Be the primary point of contact for Global Change Plan, and actively manage Global change relationships with leaders (VPs, Directors, Managers) when required
  • Maintain, and execute Global Change Management plan (per global initiative) and lean in, to execute all ESP Change Management playbook activities, as required, to fill regional specific change gaps, per ESP Deployments
  • Provide finance and change leadership to align regional business leaders, regional finance leaders, and their LTs to the ESP change strategy and agenda, ensuring understanding and buy-in for the new way of working and designing initiatives to achieve sustainable cultural transformation.
  • Build deep institutional penetration of the new 3-tier operating model and ways of working through effective change management techniques and processes.
  • Drive engagement processes to ensure consistent knowledge and expertise across all levels of the business and functional leaders to optimize leadership and drive full organization adoption of the new way of working.

25% of the role would be devoted to Leadership including:

  • Collaborate with Global Change leaders and regional HR, Talent Management, and other appropriate organizations to provide coaching, training, and / or leadership development (as required) for all levels of the organization on behavioral skills necessary to lead and manage change effectively.
  • Gather feedback & input from the business on needs and effectiveness of deployed plans and identify mechanisms for continuous improvement.
  • Help to shape and create cultural discipline to ensure consistent global deployment of defined change programs and processes around the globe.
  • Monitor the regional Change Management & Organization Design programs to ensure effectiveness of measuring adoption of the new model and sustainability
  • Being an active member on the global finance ESP program team


Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Engineering, Science, HR, OD, Psych, or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional change management experience .
  • Must be an influential team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment
  • Must have track record of effectively leading and influencing within a global matrix environment across multiple businesses and initiatives. The ability to shape and sustain accelerated development and adoption of new processes and ways of working.
  • Strong business and finance acumen, deep understanding of managing for impact in a highly complex multi-application, multi-function environment.
  • Must be able to partner effectively and influence at all levels including senior leadership outside the function and outside J&J; demonstrated engagement and facilitation skills at most senior level (VP and above).
  • Team leadership and talent development experience, proven ability to lead within direct and indirect reporting relationships.
  • Experience in complex stakeholder environment; rich influencing skills; understands complexities of regulated life science industries.
  • Experience managing, planning and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives for sustained impact.
  • Relationship management, coaching and collaboration skills.
  • Must have strong influencing skills, shaping solutions, negotiation and consultative skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, consultative and facilitation skills.
  • The ability to understand and integrate internal and external business drivers and financial metrics to drive talent outcomes for the business.
  • The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely, and able to respectfully question and/or challenge others to think through problems, improvement opportunities, solutions, and plans.
  • Must be a collaborative partner and team leader with a strong drive to create a positive and inspiring work environment, especially during times of change.
  • Strong executive presentation skills are required; must be able to speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audiences.
  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestic & international.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A Graduate/Master’s degree.
  • Change experience leading and shaping large scale transformations.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and expertise in
