Corporate Risk helps all Wells Fargo businesses identify and manage risk. We help our management and Board of Directors identify and monitor risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and take appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

Ethics Oversight (EO) provides centralized oversight of ethics and works to foster our culture of ethics and integrity throughout the company. EO is responsible for policies related to ethics, business conduct, and conflicts of interest matters, and identifying, monitoring and mitigating conduct-related risk. EO sets ethical standards for Wells Fargo and provides team members with educational resources to help them make ethical business decisions


Global Ethics Consultants will help transform the Team Member experience by providing guidance and transparency into the allegations process.  Global Ethics Consultants support EO leadership on a variety of projects and initiatives related to ethics and conduct management.  


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Consulting with Team Members around ethics, business conduct, conflicts of interest, allegations, and the Wells Fargo Code of Ethics and ethics-related policies;
  • Providing advice, counsel and interpretation around ethics and business conduct guidelines; 
  • Helping Team Members understand and apply policies to situations of workplace misconduct;
  • Working with appropriate subject matter experts to direct Team Members to make allegations and resolve their concerns;
  • Representing Ethics Oversight EO to Team Members by providing live and virtual informational and training sessions, presenting at town halls and all-hands type events, hosting brown-bag sessions, and representing the organization as needed; 
  • Reviewing and commenting on enterprise-wide policies and standards;
  • Serving as an ethics subject matter expert and assist in reviewing and editing targeted ethics related training and communications that are effective in domestic and international business environments;
  • Supporting the development of presentations and metrics;
  • Supporting other ethics and compliance projects/activities as needed;
  • Managing program documentation on SharePoint and other tools;
  • Handling intake and triage of matters that come into the group.


Preferred locations include Minneapolis, MN., Charlotte, NC., San Francisco, CA., Des Moines, IA., St. Louis, MO., Dallas, TX., and Boise, ID. Other locations will be considered for qualified candidates.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following: ethics, compliance, legal, or human resources

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) or Leading Practitioner of Ethics and Compliance (LPEC)
  • Knowledge and understanding of conduct management-related policies and how to apply and interpret them
  • Policy application, interpretation and consultation experience
  • Ability to work effectively in an emotionally charged environment
  • Investigations experience
