Country Deployment Lead

Job Summary:

The Global Innovation Team is a fast growing, startup-like product and business incubator founded in 2015 to bring technology to the core of everything we do at EY. This includes enabling existing businesses with technology as well as building entirely new web and mobile products and technology platforms with an enterprise focus. We are looking for a highly energized individual to serve as a deployment lead for GigNow. Our growing team is dedicated to developing an engaging solution to source, match, and engage contingent workers. This person will be responsible for overseeing country roll-outs for EY’s internal offering. This role will require someone who can build and maintain lasting relationships; knows how to work well within the team, across an organization, and with cross-functional partners and is adept at communicating with different audiences. The focus will be in identifying countries using contractors and helping them get ready and onboarded to the GigNow platform. The person will be responsible for working with country talent teams to educate them on the functionalities of the tool and ensure all cross-functional requirements, including legal and Independence, have been met. The person will be responsible for ensuring that all functional and technical requirements have been gathered from each country and helping them iron out all pre-deployment issues/ concerns by working with the technical team responsible for deploying the technology. Post deployment, the Lead will be responsible for helping the newly onboarded countries to adopt best practices identified by the GigNow team, relative to contractor workforce management. This position is fulltime and located in Palo Alto, CA

Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Provide recommendations to senior leadership on next set of countries to be rolled out based on spend and volume analysis
  • Execute country deployment roll-out strategy, including schedules, volume and savings projections
  • Ensure customer awareness and adoption of GigNow is supported
  • Identify barriers to change and adoption of GigNow and bring forward recommendations to enable adoption and scaling of GigNow
  • Work with GigNow technology development and country teams to configure settings to meet country needs
  • Work with country teams to ensure all legal and Independence criteria and requirements have been met prior to go-live
  • Streamline all feature requests from countries and work with GigNow product team to prioritize feature roll-out
  • Communicate customer feedback to product and engineering teams and leadership so product features and delivery can be improved
  • Facilitate product demo and Q&A sessions with country teams to understand and assess go-live requirements
  • Appoint and train in-country training leads
  • Monitor progress and assess impact of roll-out via measurements and determine future actions
  • Resolve or appropriately escalate issues that impact country adoption
  • Work with EY Legal, Finance, and other functional groups to assess, review, and execute country deployments
  • Work with global marketing and communications team to ensure approved communication channels and protocols are maintained
  • Identify and evaluate critical assumptions, risks, and opportunities
  • Assess process improvement requirements for newly deployed countries and assist with adopting best practices
  • Build and maintain productive, collaborative relationships with the GigNow product and engineering teams, BMC and Talent
  • Apply appropriate use of EY & GigNow branding, positioning and visual identity

Other Requirements:

  • Minimum travel may be required
  • Long hours may be occasionally required to meet project commitments and/or preparing materials for country deployments
  • Overtime maybe required as per country overtime policy
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate workload and multiple time zones, as needed

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience

Experience:

  • Approximately 8+ years of experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • 5+ years of experience in global system implementation, process improvement, program management, business development and/or related areas
  • Experience in developing business cases for opportunities required
  • Strong inter-personal, organizational, project management, analytical and decision-making skills are requiredDemonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Experience working remotely/virtually
