Financial Crimes Unit Technology Director

A career in our Analytics Technology practice, within Data and Analytics Technology services, will provide you with the opportunity to help organisations uncover enterprise insights and drive business results using smarter data analytics. You’ll make impactful decisions by mixing mind and machine to leverage data, understand and navigate risk, and help our clients gain a competitive edge. Our team helps clients navigate various analytics applications to get the most value out of their technology investment and foster confidence in their business intelligence. As part of our team, you’ll help our clients implement enterprise content and data management applications that improve operational effectiveness and provide impactful data analytics and insights.

Responsibilities

As a Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:
- Consulting in the financial crimes space and working in a regulatory environment;
- Utilizing into projects knowledge of AML systems (including data mapping and profiling, and system tuning and optimization) and leading sanctions and RPA systems.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:
- Building solid relationships with clients, developing an awareness of firm services, communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner, delivering clear requests for information, demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor;
- Understanding personal and team roles, contributing to a positive working environment by building solid relationships with team members, proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback, and providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less experienced staff;
- Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts;
- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data;
- Managing a team and/or work stream on an engagement(s), staying educated on current trends and assisting in the development of knowledge capital;
- Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;
- Presenting to senior executives, with the ability to develop lasting relationships; identifying and addressing client needs while displaying the ability to contribute to the development of a business vision and manage implementation efforts with complex project management capabilities;
- Managing and/or contributing to project planning, engagement administration, budget management;
- Utilizing proven extensive technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), MS Project and Lotus Notes; intelligent robotic process automation tools (Automation Anywhere, Pega, UiPath, etc.) and AML systems technologies (Actimize, Mantas, Fircosoft, etc.); and, SQL, SAS, R, Python, Ruby, QlikView, Tibco Spotfire and Tableau.
