Finance Technology Business Consultant

Role: Finance Technology Business Consultant

Organization: Humana Pharmacy

Location: Glendale, AZ

Technology/Business Analysis is the set of tasks, knowledge, and techniques required to identify business needs and determine solutions to business problems, therefore the Technology/Business Consultant works as a liaison among Stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, document, communicate and validate high-quality requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and technology systems to advance Humana’s business objectives. The Technology/Business Consultant understands requirements in the broadest context of business problems and opportunities, and recommends solutions that enable innovative delivery of Humana's brand and value proposition.

Scope of Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, guide and oversee the development and implementation of processes which meet the requirements of project owners
  • Develop and maintain key relationships with all impacted business areas
  • Create and lead initiatives for special projects, developing a greater understanding of system and environmental issues in the process
  • Review and analyze results, assisting other business areas with issue resolution
  • Document system changes and enhancements for future analysis
  • Maintain system to achieve optimum productivity
  • Contribute to final decisions regarding the readiness of production installations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated experience with relational databases, including Access, SQL, Server and Oracle
  • Traditional auditing and data analysis experience
  • Technical documentation abilities
  • Associates working in the state of Arizona must comply with the Tobacco Free Hiring Policy (see details below under Additional Information) and upon offer will be subjected to nicotine testing as part of a 10 panel drug test

Desirables:

  • Experience in a pharmacy mail order and/or retail setting
  • Master’s Degree of Business Administration, Computer Science or a related field
