All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, or protected veteran status and will not be discriminated against on the basis of disability.  Finance Manager of Worldwide Financial Compliance and Procedures is responsible for identifying, making, and communicating effective changes to the financial and managerial reporting requirements, such as maintaining chart of accounts and data sourcing requirements.  This includes the interactions with various stakeholders including (but not limited to) : the Financial Information Systems group, which is responsible for the technical implementation, Corporate Consolidations, Supply Chain, etc.   The individual is also responsible for ensuring awareness and compliance with Johnson & Johnson Worldwide Financial Procedures and responding to affiliates' questions on various accounting topics and corporate financial reporting requirements.  The position also includes in developing and updating Johnson & Johnson worldwide financial procedures and creating e-learning modules and training projects as new accounting rules are issued from the FASB and SEC.   There are numerous projects in this position that include accounting and financial reporting issues.  The position will have a focus on the accounting and compliance on certain areas such as: Leasing, Inventory, Employee Loans, Advertising and Sales Promotion Equalization, Intercompany, Property Plant and Equipment, and Software.  Additionally, the individual will lead affiliate questions on general business practices such as capital appropriation requests (CARs) and approval related questions. This position will give an individual a solid understanding of J&J's reporting requirements and worldwide procedures and businesses, as well as, the ability to participate in projects that are cross business sectors, cross operating companies and cross functional teams, and work with the senior management around the world and across all businesses.  The position will also include presenting various accounting topics and their impact to the business operations to Affiliate Controllers on a quarterly basis.
•A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.  •A minimum of 5 years of accounting or finance experience is required.•A CPA is required.  CMA and MBA is a plus.  •Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills are required. (i.e. Pivot Tables, Formulas, & VLOOKUP functions) •Intermediate to advanced knowledge & experience with A.I. technology (Artificial Intelligence) is preferred.•Individual must possess excellent analytical, conceptual, communication and business partnering skills. •Individual must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously. •This position may require up to 25% domestic travel to J&J affiliates.•Position will be located at the Johnson & Johnson World Headquarters in New Brunswick, NJ.
