This position is responsible for gathering general applicant information, financial, and personal information to support client applications as well as act as support services for Healthcare Representatives and Resolution Specialists. This position also includes a small dedicated caseload. This position requires extensive travel within an approximately 1 hour duration. This position is Full Time and will work 5 days/week, 8 hours/day.

Job Description:

• Acts as a field representative, going to clients' homes to retrieve documents necessary for application approval, as well as healthcare facilities our clients may reside in.
• Plans driving route to maximize efficiency with each day beginning and ending at hospital.
• Effectively communicates reason for visit, documentation required, and follow up needed for approval.
• Works cooperatively with hospital staff to achieve common goals. Takes direction from CHC HCRs and RS’.
• Documents, updates, and scans evidence into PACE (Patient Advocacy at Change Healthcare System) based on daily contact with clients. Also maintains spreadsheet and mileage log daily and submits expense reports.
• Processes incoming mail
• Reviews inbox for daily work queues, identifies missing evidence, and follows through to completion.
• Identifies and takes appropriate actions to complete and submit required financial, medical and personal information forms to support the client application process.
• Follows up on a small dedicate caseload of selected clients.
• Performs Deliveries/Pickups from State/Federal Agencies and routine trips to USPS
• Complies with ethics, privacy and compliance policies and procedures.

RequirementsJob Requirements:

• High school graduate or GED required
• Reliable transportation REQUIRED
• Resourceful and tenacious when faced with obstacles
• Strong communication skills (verbal & written); demonstrated experience working with high volume of phone calls
• Skill in identifying problems, researching and recommending resolutions
• Professional phone demeanor required
• Strong organization skills – ability to prioritize, plan, and follow through
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to react calmly and competently when discussing financial situations with clients
• Ability to perform effectively as a team member, supporting a client-focused environment
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft products: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Bilingual a plus (not required)
