JOB DESCRIPTION

 

 

POSITION TITLE: In-Store Executive

DEPARTMENT Name: Customer Development

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

* My Colgate Store

Maintain My Colgate Store program. Manage the input of data into the tracking sheet, ensuring accurate and up to date information is available for the CDT team on a monthly basis.  Keep track of actual vs. target providing gap analysis reports to the CD team.

Provide In-Store leadership & support to the CDEs through conducting accompanied store visits, the output of which will be stores specific action plans. 

* POP & IMAGE coordination

Responsible for coordinating with Consumer & Customer Marketing to ensure field team POP requirements are met. Align with In-Store Manager to provide standard guidelines on POP types & measurement for execution in-store. Responsible for IMAGE POP materials update & tracking.

* Oral Care Consultants

Supporting the In-Store Manager, Business Manager & Customer Development Executive in the people management processes (new starters, induction, payroll, training etc) associated with detailers resourcing. Coordinate with 3rd party service provider & consumer marketing to ensure training are provided to detailers.

* Merchandiser Support

Supporting the In-Store Manager, Business Manager & Customer Development Executive in the people management processes (new starters, induction, payroll, etc) associated with Merchandiser resourcing. Ensure merchandiser management processes are adhered to. Coordinate with 3rd party service provider in ensuring status update on recruitment, confirmation period & other essential updates are communicated to field team. Assist In-Store manager in preparing training materials for merchandisers & CDEs. 

* Field Automation Management

Maintain the field automation fleet through both deployment and repairs. Liaise the same with 3rd party on merchandiser’s hardware.

Manage the input of data into the Field Automation system, ensuring accurate and up to date information is available for the field team on a daily basis.  Maintain Field Automation back office, ensuring current and accuracy of data.

Implementation of Field Automation upgrades in a timely manner and investigate improvements for potential implementation (which includes maintaining a priority list for improvements based on CDEs/HQ feedback).  

Conduct twice yearly training (and on an ad hoc basis as required) on full field automation use by the field team in an informative and interesting manner. Provide assistance on a daily basis to solve issues and answer questions from the field team.

* Communication 

Responsible for the flow of information to and from the field team on a daily basis.

Liaise with CDT’s to provide communication to the field team, which includes the review and loading of billboards, surveys and account specific files.

* Reporting

Collation, analysis and internal reporting of information submitted by CDEs via field automation.

Monitor and provide weekly reporting updates vs. targets, including distribution (Baseline & NPD), Share of Shelf, Activation Events and My Colgate Stores.   Provide proactive support to both the Business Manager & In-Store Manager to highlight key issues/areas of opportunity to ensure corrective action is put in place.

Liaise with CDT’s to provide communication to the field team, which includes the review and loading of billboards, surveys and customer group specific files.

Identify opportunities for improvements in the weekly reporting formats.

 

 

II. EDUCATION AND FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

EXPERIENCE:

* Minimum 2 Years of Consumer Goods Industry Experience 

* Minimum 2 Years of Functional Experience
