Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO)
This opportunity is within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO). The EPMO was established by the Enterprise Project Transformation (EPMT) effort that was launched in 2017 to enhance the ownership, organizational structure, standardization, and oversight of project management functions across the company. Significant change in how Wells Fargo governs, organizes, manages and executes projects is vital, not only to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our projects, but also to reduce our operational risk.

Enterprise Project Management Continuous Improvement and Engagement (EPMCIE) team
The mission of the EPMCIE team within the EPMO is to enable the project management community to pursue excellence by providing relevant, timely communications; targeted learning opportunities; change management support; continuous improvement leadership; and meaningful engagement opportunities.

This role will report to the leader of the EPMCIE team, and is primarily responsible for supporting the EPMO Communications Lead and both producing and supporting/guiding others in producing timely, relevant, quality communications.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing support and guidance to leaders and subject matter experts in communications planning (e.g., methods for incorporating communications planning into ongoing work as well as special initiatives)
  • Helping to provide cross-EPMO visibility into communications planning activities to support coordinated communications between groups and initiatives
  • Supporting the communications governance process (i.e., ensuring SLAs are being met, etc.)
  • Assisting with EPMO-owned publication announcements (e.g., vetting/incorporating final edits, compiling articles into draft form for loading to publishing site, etc.)
  • Assisting in the processing of EPMO branded ad hoc emails
  • Drafting announcements/feature stories as needed
  • Helping in bundling/consolidating incoming feedback/requests from PM community
  • Assisting in the consolidation of existing transformation communication channels into ongoing, sustainable channels
  • Developing presentations, planning/facilitating EPMO meetings, partnering with technical support lead to manage smart/standard distribution lists as needed
  • Facilitating brand standard reviews of communications and presentations


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: administrative support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services



Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of communications experience
  • Ability to prepare and present senior level communications
  • Knowledge and understanding of internal communication programs support
  • Experience writing and editing internal communications, including corporate and executive level communications
  • Experience applying Wells Fargo Style Guide and brand standards
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment
  • Experience identifying key issues, involve affected parties, design solutions, obtain buy-in, and communicate effectively through resolution
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to present results of analyses and recommendations to senior leaders
  • Ability to negotiate, influence, and collaborate to build successful relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills





Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
