FreeWheel is hiring an Enterprise Application Support (EAS) Engineer based in our New York office who will report to the Sr. Manager of Corporate IT. As the EAS Engineer, you will be responsible for providing application support and maintenance for corporate applications used by FreeWheel employees. You will also work on implementing initiatives, enhancing applications and automating manual processes thereby improving productivity. You will work closely with business units and application owners to confirm requirements, consider design alternatives facilitate discussions and ultimately help drive requirements sign-off.

Provide daily operational support for the suite of Freewheel enterprise applications
Define and apply application configuration changes to support business initiatives
Research, plan, test, and apply application upgrades and patches
Ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of production systems including database, application and web servers
Review problems to understand root cause of issues and ensure proper fixes are done
Create detailed system interface specifications, field mapping and system process designs
Design, build, test and deploy applications
Coordinate and complete assigned deliverable schedules to ensure timelines are met
Track issues and risks, communicate status and escalate concerns to management

Have 3+ years of experience with JIRA and Confluence
Have experience with the installation and configuration of the latest version of JIRA and Confluence
JIRA/Confluence HA support experience
Experience with Cloud service (AWS) architecture, database structure, and frameworks
Have 3+ years of Linux Experience
Have an IT Operations background and expertise (sense to maintain production like environments)
Experience with Splunk administration.
Monitoring experience of a web application, database, JVM and logs (ELK/Splunk equivalent platform etc.)
Application Migration Experience
Knowledge of web and application servers such as Tomcat
Ability to travel few times in a year
