  • Provides Advanced Analytics support (preparation and delivery of value-added proposition and insights) by addressing Senior Leadership Strategic requests through the use of advanced predictive/prescriptive modeling and cutting-edge visualization techniques not currently deployed by regional analytics teams
  • Utilizes internal and external data sources and through integration, novel data mining exploration, identification and troubleshooting of data anomalies, then synthesizes and derives value-added strategic insights
  • Partners and serves as Account Managers with outsource analytics suppliers on the delivery of strategic analytics projects
  • Exploration that brings in and implements cutting-edge analytical/visualization techniques including processes, procedures and workflows. Explores, pilots, validates, implements and deploys these techniques and services across the regional analytics centers
  • Contributes to the gathering of analytical efficiencies on a global, regional, local and functional level
  • Develops a process to translate selected advanced analytics projects worth scaling to serve the broader Procurement community, and develops a deployment process that the regional analytics organization can subsequently leverage as a regional analytics service offering
  • Provides advanced analytics, on-boarding and training to the regional analytics team members whenever needed
  • Understand business needs via Voice of the Customer analysis with senior leadership that translates information to viable analytical projects that should be scaled and deployed worldwide

  • A Bachelor’s degree is required, with a preferred concentration in Statistics, Economics, Finance, Economics, Finance, Business Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
  • A minimum of 4 years of related experience is required
  • Quantitative discipline experience required
  • Strong analytical skills are required
  • Experience in the use of various analytical tools such as data management/query tools is required
  • Experience using statistical modeling (ex. SAS, SPSS, etc.) is preferred
  • Experience using advanced visualization software (Tableau, Qlik, Cognos Alteryx etc.) is required
  • Stakeholder management experience is required
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to quickly merge and summarize data/information from multiple sources, including experience in data management, cleaning, data analysis and report writing required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills is required. Advanced use of Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, lookup procedures and complex formulas with nested logic) is required
  • Independent and creative self-starter, able to work with limited supervision
  • Strong project/account management skills with an ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment with tight timelines are required. Demonstrated success in working with an outsource analytics partner and leading projects on-time and on budget is required
  • Excellent English communication/presentation skills (written, spoken) in order to provide succinct, concise and insightful analysis/concepts and actionable recommendations to a non-quantitative senior stakeholder audience
  • Previous exposure or experience in a procurement function preferred
  • Experience and exposure to global and matrix organizations preferred
  • Customer-focused and experience working in a shared service environment preferred
  • PMI, FPX, or other project management certification preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Design Excellence certification preferred
