Engineering Co-Op (Fall Session)

The primary responsibilities of this role, Engineering Co-op (Fall Session), are to: 


  • Under guidance of the Production, Engineering, or Process Technology staff/mentors, the student will work with production and production support groups (engineering, maintenance, and quality assurance/control) to complete equipment, facility and process improvement projects related to the support of manufacturing operations at the facility;
  • The specific projects will vary depending on the activities in the plant. However the student will have the opportunity to apply his/her technical training in an industrial environment with hands-on activities supervised by the technical staff and a chance to view a broad spectrum of engineering disciplines (i.e. chemical, electrical, and mechanical); 
  • The student will become knowledgeable in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), Continuous Improvement/ Lean Six Sigma methodology, and management of time and varying project loads.

Required Qualifications:


  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree majoring in Engineering;
  • Must be available for the Fall Co-Op session;
  • Proficient in MS apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access);
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Willing and able to work in a team/cross functional environment.
