The eCommerce (Amazon) Customer Management Analyst will be the analytics expert within the Customer Development eCommerce team, fully versed in data availability in order to delve into the data to help the Customer Development Team (CDT) understand performance drivers, make recommendations, and share best practices across all the eCommerce CDTs. This position includes providing analytical support to the Amazon CDT including helping to reduce out of stocks, analyzing POS trends to provide recommendations and working with the Amazon CDT to test and learn promotions (perform pre-post analytics), portfolio optimization recommendations. The Analyst will also work with the other CDTs to help educate on best practices and work with teams to test promotions with pre and post analytics/ROI. Lead contact for e-auditing tool in particular to understand promotions. In addition, work with IT to identify & develop additional analytical tools that could be automated.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide analytical support for Amazon CDT leveraging ARA Premium, Stackline & other tools.
  • Deliver Amazon out of stock analytics: analyze issues, identify opportunities, share with CDT for Amazon buyer; part of Commercial Discipline process
  • Promotional analytics: For Amazon. Plus, gather & share best practices across CDTs in particular Walmart, Target, Amazon, Grocery, Drug, etc. Ensure pre & post evaluations are conducted, ROI regularly assessed with outputs and recommendations shared with key cross functional business partners.
  • To be the analytics expert with the E-Commerce team, fully versed in the latest tools, techniques adopted by our customers in this space. To provide the analytical support to all Test&Learn projects implemented by the team
  • Develop & share Variation strategy with Category Management & roll out to CDTs
  • Support & educate CDTs in the implementation of eCommerce strategies. Develop & launch eLearning Series for CDTs
  • Assist with e-packaging forecast volumes across CDTs for initial planning
  • Lead contact with IT to identify & develop tools to automate eCommerce data analytics, develop Subscribe & Save Amazon Tool
  • Lead contact for Clavis, auditing tool. Leverage e-audit insights to assess Colgate's and competitor online presence, determine and lead the implementation of all corrective actions, to coordinate with the customer teams and/or customer to ensure that the content for our brands is to both the customer and Colgate guidelines.
  • Expert on Prodigi, Colgate's digital Asset Management tool
  • Assist in the delivery of the eCommerce P&L/ agreed KPIs goals for the Retail Environment across North America. KPIs must include and are not limited to Net Sales, Profit, Market Share, 5P’s, Consumption, ROI, executional excellence.
  • Conduct regular reviews of all external news/trends/ best practices and to share findings, implications and ideas with the eCommerce team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 years of work experience preferred
  • Solid analytical competencies required
  • Experience in Sales, Marketing and eCommerce is a plus
  • Comfortable with managing in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
  • Experienced in consumer packaged goods or similar industry preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency including high-level knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word required
