We provide clients with a broad array of investment options across all major asset classes, including actively managed equity, fixed-income, liquidity, stable value, and alternative investments. In addition to these various investment options, WFAM also is focused on delivering holistic investment solutions, thought leadership, and innovation for clients with the goal of building long-term, dynamic relationships.  Key to being able to execute on those objectives is the Distribution Enablement team.  This team is comprised of individuals with a variety of skills who can collaboratively support a multitude of needs across all of the distribution teams within WFAM. From building out sustainable processes, solving an immediate problem, creating efficiency gains or addressing a core client need, coordination and harnessing the WFAM team is at the center of all of their engagements.

The Distribution Data and Technology Strategist is a critical and significant role within the team.  This role will be responsible for building a data-driven distribution intelligence operating model to prioritize resources across client relationships.  This role will work with, and across the distribution teams at WFAM, to allow us to identify, and implement, innovative technology solutions to create a more efficient distribution strategy.  This role partners closely with, and engages senior leaders across WFAM, to analyze and support initiatives that can lead to greater efficiency in our distribution model. 

Key responsibilities of this position include:

  • Participate and drive strategic direction of distribution data and technology enablement
  • Build a data-driven distribution intelligence operating model
  • Lead implementation of innovative technology solutions across distribution teams
  • Collaborate with key business and technology partners to deliver analytics that grow ROI, increase sales team productivity, and improve efficiency
  • Oversee distribution related market data relationships, including sourcing, fiscal management, and contract administration
  • Maintain architecture and continuous improvement of sales data ecosystem, CRM tools and governance model
  • Supporting a diverse set of enterprise-wide strategic initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
  • 5+ years of management experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • 5+ years of investment management and Fintech experience
  • Experience in sourcing and implementing technology solutions
  • Asset management data analytics experience
  • A background and passion for innovation
  • Experience driving for results, applying a sense of urgency, and bringing issues to closure in a decisive manner despite obstacles and opposition 
  • Keen analytical skills including:  synthesizing, organizing and evaluating data in support of core business analytics/special requests
  • Ability to lead, and work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to partner and build relationships across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are vitally important
  • Experience with database software and applications such as Salesforce, BrightScope, Satuit
