Director/VP Product Management, Nielsen Marketing Cloud -NYC

 

OVERVIEW

The Director/VP of Product Management will lead the vision, roadmap, and tactical development of the Nielsen Marketing Cloud’s targeting and syndication products. This person will be responsible to lead a three-person product team across multiple business units to ensure the feature roadmap results in incremental client value, competitive differentiation and greater product differentiation.  This role reports into the SVP of Product for the Nielsen Marketing Cloud.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage team of product managers acting as Product Owners of the Nielsen Marketing Cloud core targeting, data ingestion and data syndication applications
  • Collaborate, with the Nielsen Marketing Cloud’s commercial and technical leaders to drive and implement the product vision
  • Engage with existing and potential customers to improve understanding of market needs    
  • Work with the Marketing Cloud’s data science team’s to create best in-class artificial intelligence (AI) to drive marketing effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the Nielsen Marketing Cloud’s marketing teams on positioning and launch strategies to ensure maximum market up-take
  • Lead internal and external training sessions and demonstrations
  • Coordinate smooth workflow to ensure timely and agile execution across engineering and business stakeholders

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 5-7 years of experience in a product management role within an Ad Tech business (ideally a DMP, DSP or SSP)
  • Previous experience managing product manager(s)
  • Strong understanding of RTB, Analytics and Cost Effective advertising methods/ products.
  • Demonstrated record of partnering with teams across organizations and driving business results across multiple teams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive product research and competitive analyses
  • Experience in planning, developing, and launching products successfully
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to coordinate work across geographically distributed teams
  • Strong relationship and project management skills
  • Knowledge about Big Data technologies and basics of statistical modeling
