About The Role:

In this newly created role, you will have a unique opportunity to build a strategic communications plan that advances Prudential’s customer centric business strategy. You will collaborate closely with senior leaders in building strategies and plans that align customer-focused themes across the enterprise. You will help to develop best practices in internal communications, constantly researching new and better ways to drive digital advocacy. You will be responsible for connecting the dots between key initiatives to drive holistic understanding and thinking as it relates to the end customer.

Specific Responsibilities:

·         Lead strategic communications efforts for the Customer Office including the development of internal/external senior level presentations, connecting the dots with broader Prudential strategies.

·         Build an integrated strategic communications plan that transcends organizational boundaries, leverages a multi-media approach and easily adapts to the diverse needs of individual business groups.

·         Collaborate with key stakeholders (e.g., BU Leaders, Global Communication partners) by seeking their input, building knowledge of individual businesses and fostering a greater understanding of the direct connection between the customer experience and business results.

·         Proactively identify opportunities for communication within the Customer Office and across Prudential’s business lines to drive a culture of change and innovation throughout the organization.

·         Strategically counsel senior business leaders on communications plans and approaches; partner closely with Customer Office communications colleagues to support ongoing needs related to CO initiative efforts.

·         Introduce new and innovative communication methods/technologies to share broad messaging and gather feedback on communication effectiveness.

·         Create a compelling value proposition for the Customer Office to drive branding and messaging for a customer centric company.

·         Produce a variety of communications assets and materials including, executive presentations, articles, digital signage/brochures and speaking points.

·         Work as a team player to support overall organizational goals.

Qualifications

·         10+ years demonstrated professional experience in creating and launching internal communications strategy.

·         Exceptional written and verbal communications, with the ability to synthesize insights into compelling presentations.

·         Exceptional PPT skills with the ability to translate complex thoughts into simplistic and comprehensive images/text.

·         Amazing listener with a keen ability to knit together disparate sources of information into a strong strategic narrative.

·         Able to bring a flexible approach and solutions-focused mindset to the CO with the ability to react quickly to new information, opinion and direction.

·         Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results. Ability to effectively lead and work with a variety of management levels, cultures and business partners.

·         Ability to juggle different projects/priorities independently and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure.

·         Strong partnering skills and ability to work collaboratively across a large organization.

Education:

·         Undergraduate degree required
