The PGIM Marketing team is looking for a Social Media Marketing Director to join our team. As part of our team’s efforts to increase brand awareness, you will help with the development and implementation related to the PGIM Social Media Strategy. You will work with the PGIM Marketing Team, Control Partners, and internal Advertising Agency to help devise the strategic direction for our Social Media Marketing initiative in alignment with the PGIM strategy.


  • Build and execute on the global social media strategy to help promote the brand through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification.

  • Partner with Compliance, the Content Board and cross functional teams to generate, edit, publish and share daily content that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.

  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.

  • Establish processes and craft editorial calendars and syndication schedules.

  • Continuously improve marketing strategy by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights and standard methodologies, and then acting on the information.

  • Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage projects, identify key players and coordinate project activities.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of financial services marketing, communications/pubic relations, or social media experience
  • Asset Management experience / knowledge a plus
  • Creative thinker and exceptional writer with experience developing engaging social media content
  • Knowledge of social media best practices and techniques
  • Experience with Hearsay, LinkedIn, and Twitter preferred
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple complex deliverables under tight deadlines
  • Solid computer skills, including Excel
  • Clear and concise communication and presentation skills
  • Communicates effectively and collaborates well with others with the ability to influence team members of all levels
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude
