Posting Job Description What part will you play?
We are seeking a Director, Sales Systems Analysis & Development to provide advance systems analysis, development, and project management. The role acts as liaison between business and technology areas.
  • Work closely with senior management in assessing business needs and developing system enhancements.
  • Create functional requirements and prototypes that accurately portray specific needs and manage projects to completion.
  • Coordinate requirements walk-through and sign-offs, verifying with user representatives that requirements match the business needs.
  • Communicate with the technical staff to ensure that functional designs are clear and interpreted accurately.  
  • Develop business scenarios for testing, and reviews Test Plans with a focus on Integration, Regression and User Acceptance testing.
  • Perform testing and validate results. Makes modifications as necessary.
  • Ensure that the business system features are properly implemented.
  • Closely monitor data integrity and oversee staff usage of system and inputs.
  • Create complex interim spreadsheets using Excel or similar software.
  • Manage and coordinate staff training needs and supervise junior staff as the department grows.
 
What do we require from you?
  • BA/BS degree in computer science, media studies, business or similar field preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of related experience.
  • 5+ years working in an analytical or associated business role preferred.
  • Linear & Digital Network TV/Media Planning, Research, or other media related experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Additional programming skills a plus, including but not limited to PowerBuilder, SQL Server, Sybase, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Proven ability to work both independently on projects and as part of the larger team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, including overtime, if and when necessary.
