Director, Sales Excellence Insights

The Director of Sales Excellence Insights role is responsible for supporting the design, delivery, and ongoing analysis of internal sales focused surveys. This position will play a key role supporting and advancing MasterCard’s sales force success in designated areas by enabling, leveraging and enhancing Sales Excellence insights initiatives. Two key deliverables for this role include the annual Sales Voice of the Customer Survey and the bi-annual Internal Voice of Sales Surveys. This position will be part of an intact work team that is integral in supporting both NA and IMK sales forces in setting, delivering against, and measuring their objectives. A wide range of knowledge across all core business units and a deep and thorough understanding of MasterCard’s business model and sales processes are required to succeed in this role. A strong analytical and project management mind set is required in this role. As part of the broader Sales Excellence team, this role will also contribute to the annual global Sales Leadership Meeting as well as other SE initiatives.


Works as part of an intact team on deliverables in key areas: Surveys (Sales VOC and Internal Voice of Sales), and other ad-hoc sales surveys initiatives
Design and manage other surveys such as the Sales Leadership Meeting effectiveness survey, communications dashboard, and some Sales Champions awards program.
Improve overall sales survey processes by identifying, streamlining, and automating surveys programs and continuously seeking improvement.
Is the project manager of SE surveys; manages the design, execution, reporting and analysis; acts as end to end key resource lead to the regions or key stakeholders
Interacts with the global sales organization to provide data and reporting on the VOC and other SE surveys as requested and as part of the overall plan
Creates reporting packages within key areas to support effective communication of insights
Delivers workshops to the regions per request to deep dive results of surveys
Conducts internal ad-hoc surveys dependent on need to understand the state of sales against various sales tools
Work in lock step with both Sales Excellence team, internal partners and key stakeholders to provide seamless support to sales in the regions
Build and maintain strong working relationships with all sellers and sales management within the regions and divisions to identify and understand their business requirements
Work closely with all sales people and cross functional partners within the regions to promote and facilitate GSE activities in partnership with key stakeholders when necessary
A core team member to execute the annual Sales Leadership Meeting through various assignments as needed; specifically managing the effectiveness survey for the meeting and communications
Contribute to overall success of the SE function through ad-hoc projects
Work on assignment as requested


Strong analytical ability to manage complex data and draw key themes and insights
Near expert knowledge on designing surveys and delivering insights             
Action oriented self-starter with desire to advocate and provide solution based support to all levels in the organization
Excellent project management and administration skills required with attention to detail
Ability to influence and act as a change agent to leverage the sales products, services, tools and training made available by Sales Excellence
Ability to build strong relationships with key constituents
Excellent communication skills in written and verbal
MS Office proficient to produce effective insights for a global audience
Solid sales operations experience, preferably in financial services
Bachelor's Degree required, Post Graduate Degree preferred
Required travel:  15%
