Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Retail Planning for the Sales department. This position will lead the end to end process in support of Amazon physical and digital business including planning & execution, financial & promotional planning, trade fund management and reconciliation and retail support. This includes managing the team responsible for all aspects of retail strategy, planning and trade fund administration. 

Responsibilities include:  
  • Oversee the preparation and distribution of monthly/quarterly and annual revenue and promotional plans and drive strategy internally to achieve and/or exceed revenue targets.
  • Oversee the cross functional efforts required to support the Amazon business and ensure that the teams internal and customer deliverables managed timely to drive revenue and to facilitate accurate forecasting, scorecards, pacing and financial reporting.
  • Oversee the end to end retail planning process in support of Amazon/AIV/Costco including revenue, returns and spend as well as performance to goal, promotional/event planning and post promotion performance analysis.
  • Oversee the process for developing comprehensive annual plans. Review all account forecasts for accuracy. Ensure all deliverables are managed to facilitate monthly/quarterly scorecards and reporting.
  • Prepare regular updates and present to senior management and key stakeholders related to customer revenue and promotional performance as well as customer strategies and priorities and opportunities.   
  • Work directly with Trade Marketing to provide insight and context related to needs and opportunities to drive revenue. Ensure that revenue and gap fill plans are executed to achieve and/or exceed revenue targets and that all customer timelines and processes are managed appropriately.
  • Oversee Retail Support responsibilities. Drive process improvements, tools and reporting related to the various areas of concern. Ensure communication with internal and external teams is managed effectively. Includes data and feed management, order and delivery status, andon cord as well as working with various teams to monitor product issues/concerns on Amazon’s site.
  • Oversee the end to end trade fund management process for Amazon/AIV/Club, AZ Games and Amazon.CA. includes visibility to deals, ensuring pricing and spend are accurately reflected in the monthly financial reporting, overseeing the reconciliation of the A/R including settlement of customer disputes. 
What do we require from you?
  • BA/BS required.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years’ work experience in the entertainment and/or consumer goods industry.
  • Experience with mass retail (Walmart, Target, Amazon).
  • Experience with transactional digital business (iTunes; Amazon Video; Google Play).
  • Ability to interpret consumer data to identify trends.
  • Ability to interpret multiple data sources to identify needs and/or opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
