What will you be doing?
This role is part of Turner Ignite, will report to the VP, of Ad Innovation & Programmatic Solutions. The Director of Product Development is tasked with managing all aspects of product development lifecycle of Ignite products, including product roadmap and development milestones, business requirements, product P&L, marketing plans and materials, business model and pricing. The role will work hand in hand with senior leaders within Ignite Solution Sales, Inventory Management, Research, Technology, Operations and Data Science teams. The Director will have product development and business ownership of a suite of Ignite products.

What will you be doing?
  • Gather feedback from stakeholders on potential product capabilities and enhancements.

  • Prioritize and sequence new capabilities and enhancements based on market demand, level of effort to build, expected return on investment, and other criteria.

  • Build and maintain documentation product roadmap and key milestones

  • Manage P&L associated with product

  • Work with internal stakeholders to establish pricing and packaging policies

  • Develop value proposition and marketing materials to attract prospects

  • Manage internal stakeholder to develop timelines and deliverables

  • Support Solution Engineer and Sales teams to articulate capabilities and execute campaigns

 What are we looking for?
  • Great presentation skills and ability to interact with senior level internal and external executives

  • Excellent problem solving skills

  • Highly creative thinker with proven record of success

  • Great communicator who can work cross functionally with various internal and external teams to execute complex processes

  • Ability to take extremely technical and/or complex solutions and make them nontechnical and/or simple and easy to explain

  • Passionate about media, data, analytics and technology

  • Proven leader who can successfully influence and manage cross functional and cross divisional teams to hit deadlines and reach milestones

  • Deep knowledge of advertising industry and marketing principles

  • Knowledge of ad operations (ad serving, trafficking etc.)

  • Deep knowledge of audience targeting data (examples DMPs, such as DLX, BlueKai, Krux, Exelate, etc. or data sets, such as Nielsen Catalina, Nielsen Buyer Insights, Rentrak, TRA, Vizio, Alphonso, etc., or advertiser side data solutions, such as Homescan, Scantrack, IRI, NPD, JD Power, Rentrak, etc.)

  • Knowledge of data integration techniques and processes preferred

  • Solid understanding of media planning (Ex: Reach and frequency concepts)

  • Deep knowledge of programmatic solutions and technology providers in market for linear

  • 8+ years’ experience as a product or program manager within digital and/or linear advertising technology or media company
