The Director of the JJV Strategic Portfolio Management Office will lead the development and management of the portfolio of strategic initiatives that are central to our strategy of growth and transformation.


You will drive the implementation and on-going management of the strategic supply chain portfolio process, including facilitating ongoing project and portfolio reviews, and working with SMEs/initiative owners to shape the key strategic programs to ensure alignment with the JJV Supply Chain future state vision, and ensuring programs are appropriately led, resourced, and managed, and are delivering on their target outcomes.

  You will:
  • Work with the JJV Supply Chain leadership to identify the key strategic opportunities required to achieve the overall strategy and realize the future state vision, and work closely with leadership and end to end teams to shape and drive these opportunities
  • Establish and facilitate the on-going strategic project and portfolio review process, including project/portfolio tracking performance indicators. Ensure strategic portfolio management processes and tracking/reporting are aligned with the JJSC SC Enterprise PMO practices, as appropriate. Partner with Strategy and Insights, Finance, and PMO leads to link with the annual strategy and financial cycles (strategic planning, LRFP, BP, etc)
  • Shape early stage opportunities to develop initial business cases and program roadmaps, establish the JJV SC strategy and initiative approach, and hand off to execution leaders for implementation. Collaborate with the program leads and other key stakeholders to refine the initial integrated business cases, resource plans, project timelines, key deliverables and success factors and outcomes into execution plans for these strategic opportunities
  • Implement an agile and efficient process to prioritize projects within each strategic initiative area/portfolio, and ensure appropriate resourcing is in pace to insure benefits are realized
  • Establish program tracking and reporting to insure JJV SC is on track for to realize the key benefits from these opportunities
  • Partner with end to end senior leadership, including functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Quality, CLS, IT, and the Value Streams to insure programs are aligned with JJV priorities, and that appropriate adjustments are established and maintained

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business or technical discipline (i.e. Engineering or Science) is required, an Advanced Degree is preferred
  • A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant business experience is required
  • A minimum of three (3) years of people management experience is preferred
  • Previous experience working in an FDA regulated environment within the Healthcare Industry (i.e. Consumer, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, etc.) is required
  • Demonstrated success in clearly and concisely communicating across all levels of the organizations within an end-to-end Supply Chain is required
  • Experience in business case development, financial / business acumen is required
  • Demonstrated success in leading and influencing others in a complex matrix organization is required
  • Proven track record of driving change across all levels of an organization is required 
  • Ability to work in ambiguity within a complex environment is preferred
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) is preferred
  • Experience in relationship development, conflict resolution, team building and customer centric approach is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time Domestically and/or Internationally is required
